Jesus tells us in Matthew 16 that He will build His church upon His Christ-hood and the gates of hell shall not prevail (meaning be victorious). Jesus isn’t talking about four walls! He’s talking about building people up in the Kingdom way.
Jesus ALWAYS did something RELEVANT for those who needed help. At HSM, we believe in being relevant to the needs around us. That means getting beyond the four walls and going to where the people are. By God’s Grace, we go with the love of God to make a difference whether it’s providing new socks or winter hats or free meals at a downtown local park.
