WHO WE ARE
WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe there is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Jesus Christ as Son and Holy Spirit, distinguishable yet indivisible. Deuteronomy 6:4; Mathew 28:19; Luke 3:21-22; 2 Corinthians 13:14

We believe Jesus Christ is true God and true man, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe He lived a sinless life and demonstrated the authority and power of God. We believe He died on the cross as the complete sacrifice for our sins. We believe He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of God. Luke 1:26-35; John 1:1,14,18; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; Philippians 2:5-11; Revelations 1:7-8; 22:13,16

We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and, during this age, to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for Godly living and service. John 14:15-18; 16:7-15; 1 Corinthians 6:19

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God. Ps. 119; Mat. 4:4; Lk. 24:27

We believe that the crucifixion of Jesus Christ (death) and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all. Those who receive Jesus Christ by faith as Lord and Savior receive the gift of salvation and justification from God. We believe it is essential to repent of sin, experience a new birth by the Holy Spirit, and become children of God. Isaiah 53; Luke 24:1-3; Acts 1:1-3; 2:22-36; 1 Cor. 15:1-8; Hebrew 9:12-14

We believe humanity was created in the image of God to know and enjoy being in blessed relationship with Him. Yet we willfully sinned by rejecting the Lordship and glory of God for which we were intended. We believe sin allowed sickness, death and judgment to enter the world and now creation suffers from the consequences of sin. Gen. 1:27; 3; Romans 5:12

We believe that the true Church is not defined by four walls but rather the ecclesia – those who gather, justified through the saving faith in Jesus Christ, sanctified by the Holy Spirit and united together in the body of Christ of which Jesus Christ is the Head. Col. 1:18

We believe all those who are reborn into Christ by faith are indwelt by God through the Holy Spirit, who empowers the Church to continue the work of Christ on earth. 1 Timothy 3:15; 1 Corinthians 1:2; Romans 12:5

We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ. Those who believe in Him will be resurrected to a heavenly dwelling in an incorruptible body, and those who do not believe will join Satan and his host in everlasting punishment. Dan. 12:2; 1 Thess. 4:16-5:11; Rev. 20:11-15; I Cor. 15:51-52

We believe that God made male and female in His Image, and ordained the union of man and woman together in marriage. We believe that this relationship is modeled after the relationship between the bridegroom as Christ and the bride as the Church. Mat. 19:4-5, Eph. 5:23-30
